Tweet up at the St. Francis

Last Friday, January 30th, 2009 after the Wine 2.0/ZAP seminars a few of us, whom all knew each other through Twitter, met at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco for drinks and conversation. We discussed everything from our kids to the recent launch of VinTank. In attendance were Joel Vincent of OWC and VinTank, Paul Mabray of VinTank, Robbin Gheesling of Vineyard Adventures, Thea Dwelle of Luscious Lushes’s Blog, Shana Ray of shana; not out on VHS yet, Amanda Hendershot of Two D’Vine Girls, and Ashley Routson (A.K.A. The Beer Wench). It was a virtual social media brain trust. I had a great time and hope to be able to repeat the experience often.

I did, but didn’t stay long. It was more of a drive by. Get in, say hello to a few folks, taste a few wines and get home. I didn’t have much energy to do more than that this year.
