I’ll be attending the Wine Bloggers Conference in Santa Rosa next week. The conference will be held over three days from October 24-26 at the Flamingo Resort, a historic landmark off of Highway 12. Living in the town of Sonoma myself, I’ve driven by the location many times, and have always said, “someday I’d like to go there.” Well, now I have an excuse for my shadow to darken the doors of the Flamingo.
I’m looking forward to meeting a bunch of fellow bloggers with whom I’ve tweeted (is that really a word?) with but never met in person. It will be a great opportunity for all of us to network with fellow bloggers and industry professionals, and to explore the state of wine blogging and where our futures lie.
One of the exercises during the conference will be a “live blogging” session. So expect to get the latest, and greatest from the floor. I’ll also have a full report upon my return. As the focus of this blog is on wine PR and marketing, I will endeavor to make it relevant to my readers.
